The Mazda CX-5 Trim Levels: Sport to Signature

Sport Trim

The Sport trim is the baseline trim level for the 2019 Mazda CX-5. This model comes with the SKYACTIV®-G 2.5 l DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine. This is the standard engine and it pairs with the SKYACTIV®-Drive 6-Speed Automatic Transmission. The Sport offers the option of either Front-Wheel Drive or All-Wheel Drive. This engine is used in the Touring and Grand Touring trim levels as well.

Sport trim features that are standard on all five trim levels:

·         7” full-color touch screen display

·         Rearview camera

·         Bluetooth compatibility

·         MAZDA CONNECT Infotainment System

·         Remote keyless entry

·         Push button start

·         E911 automatic emergency notification

Touring Trim

The 2019 Mazda CX-5 Touring trim level is a step up from the base, and it amps up quite a few features. Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ is an added feature that connects your smartphone and is voice activated. Other features include:

·         Heated front seats

·         Automatic rain-sensing variable-intermittent windshield wipers

·         Rear privacy glass

·         Advanced keyless entry and start system

·         Smart brake support

Grand Touring Trim

The 2019 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring has the same engine and features as the Sport and the Touring, and also adds these features:

·         Bose® 10-speaker audio

·         Mazda Navigation System

·         Leather trimmed seats

·         Power sliding-glass moonroof

·         SiriusXM® 3-month trial and 3-years of SiriusXM® Travel and Traffic Link

Grand Touring Reserve Trim

The 2019 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring Reserve trim levels up the engine to the SKYACTIV®-G 2.5 engine with Dynamic Pressure Turbo. It increases the horsepower to 250. This turbocharged engine is paired with the SKYACTIV®-Drive 6-Speed Automatic Transmission with manual-shift and Sport Mode. The Grand Touring Reserve trim adds the following features:

·         Active Driving Display with Traffic Sign Recognition

·         3 levels of ventilated front seats

·         3 levels of heated rear seats

·         Heated steering wheel

·         Windshield wiper de-icer

Signature Trim

Finally, the 2019 Mazda CX-5 Signature trim has the same engine as the Grand Touring Reserve. Both of these trims are All-Wheel Drive. Added luxurious features to the Signature trim include:

·         19” aluminum-alloy wheels with Dark Silver finish

·         360º View Monitor

·         LED lighting for glovebox, cargo area and vanity mirrors

·         Caturra Brown Nappa Leather-trimmed seats

·         Front and rear parking sensors
